Be ware of loctites rtv and its expiration date that is not printed on the box. Also loctite does not tell you there is a shelf life on the packaging or on the tube. So don't get yourself in the same situation i did assembling a engine in a bus and finding out when you are done that the silicone did not set up 48 hours later. Loctites response is the product was 2 and a half years old and it is expired. My Question was how did i know that it was expired i purchased it less than two years ago and thought it was still good. Where does it say an expiration date? It is in the batch code i was told! How do i read a batch code? You should have a loctite hand book! Why not put the expiration date on the box? Its corporate policy not to let the customer know the product is expired with out calling us to read the batch code. THANK YOU LOCTITE FOR WASTING MY TIME AND MONEY AND NOT CARING ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS......
