Had my local mechanic install this for me, though I could have easily done it. Have not had a belt slipping off since. This is a marvelous product. Shame on Chrysler engineers for designing such a flawed situation.

INSTALLED IT THIS WEEKEND,EASY JOB, I HAVE A 3.8 AND DECIDED TO JUST CHANGE THE PULLEY ON THE TENSIONER AND NOT THE WHOLE THING,SO FAR SO GOOD.

Bolt on the back of tensioner was a bugger to get at, but overall not bad to install, belt takes a bit to get on. Very good fix for a manufacturer's problem.

We had the belt come off in deep puddles at least twice on our 1999 Town and Country. Since installing this kit, no more issues. Great upgrade and worth the effort.

I owned 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8, Serpentine belt came off all the time as I drive across water, rainny day or snow. After I had install new Gates System. It worked so great, I am not going to worry belt comes off any more. Thank you very much Gates Engineer.
