This product works very well for its intended purpose. The conductive cement in the kit was not developed to serve as a high-strength adhesive, but rather as an electrically conductive cement to bridge breaks in exposed rear window defogger grids. It is also very useful in electronic/hobby applications for making low-resistance electrical connections to parts that cannot be soldered. It contains very fine silver particles suspended in a resin/solvent base, and sets by evaporation of the volatile solvent, so it works best when it can dry in the open. Don't try to use it to glue two pieces of material together, unless they are very small (say, 1/8 inch across) -- it will not set properly in a confined spaced between larger parts because the solvent takes forever to evaporate from the interior parts of the joint. Acetone can be used to clean up hardened cement resides.
